OSRS #2

I continued training Runecrafting with Zeah blood runes, but I got pretty burnt out on it after a while. After reaching level 85 with over 100,000 blood runes in my inventory, I decided to take a break and do something else.

I decided to do some Slayer again and finish off my stored Nechryael task. I even gained a Magic level from bursting them. My next task was TzTok-Jad, which was pretty fun to do again after not doing it for a while. After that I got Metal Dragons in the Brimhaven Dungeon from Konar for my 250th task. But now I have Greater Demons active and Black Demons stored. I'd like to do Tormented Demons and Demonic Gorillas for them, but I don't have much interest in doing either right now, so I'll probably procrastinate again.

I had been putting off doing diaries for a while, but I finally got around to doing my first two elites. I got the quest cape a long time ago and did the emote for Lumbridge so I wouldn't have to do all the new quests when I got the other requirements filled. But before that, I had realized that I had all the requirements for Falador Elite, so I did that one first. The only time consuming part was the White Knight sword which needed a ton of Black Knight kills. After that, all I really needed for Lumbridge Elite was a few Smithing levels, so I did just over 12,000 gold ore bars at the Blast Furnace with goldsmith gauntlets to hit level 83 so I could stew to 88. I used both lamps on Agility to save some time later when I grind that to 90 for Ardougne. The only Falador Elite reward that seems useful to me is the "Access to the larger amethyst mine in the west of the Mining Guild", but I don't have the mining level for that yet. The Lumbridge Elite was my main goal, since now I'll never need a Dramen staff again, I can block another Slayer task, and I get 30 free high alchs a day.

After doing the same thing for so long, I got pretty bored and unmotivated to play. The satisfaction of two Elite diaries wasn't enough to keep me going, and I didn't start any new projects or goals to work towards, so I just stopped playing for a while. I didn't care enough to even do herb runs or Miscellania management. I was actually going to cancel my membership, but I was too late. Guess I should get back to playing soon, so it's not a complete waste of money. I did return briefly at the end of the month to check out the 25 year anniversary event, but I didn't do much and I haven't played since.
