Summary
Distraction
I was distracted by real-life stuff most of the month, so I didn’t get as much time to play as I would normally. I still didn’t have much interest in playing, so it wasn’t a big deal. I figured my free time would be better spent elsewhere and maybe time away would help me get back into it.
Runecrafting
I occasionally got some Runecrafting done, but not enough to make meaningful progress. I kept trying to set a goal of 100,000 XP a day, but it takes nearly three hours a day to reach that goal. Going from 300,000 XP/hour Firemaking in Wintertodt to ~35,000 XP/hour Runecrafting in Zeah is a massive drop in dopamine, so it’s harder to stay motivated. I’m not far from reaching level 90 to unlock soul runes, and I think I’ll switch to something else after that. I’ll come back to Runecrafting eventually, but I need a change of pace.
Leagues
I wasn’t keeping up with the game’s news at all, so I was actually surprised to see that the Demonic Pacts League started. I ended up playing the League a lot more than the main game. I’ll upload a timelapse video of my entire League experience when it’s over. I probably should have played the League on a different account so I could keep training Runecrafting on my main account, but one membership is already expensive enough.
